"KĀWAI 4 CHCH" is the third run of the Kāwai Hāpori Collection. The front image was taken just before the kick off of our debut session 'Whenua Step 1!' as a new reggae system in Ōtautahi. This image for us represents the calm before the incredible storm of what was once a collection of home-built speakers made in our pā turned into a pillar of community bringing together all walks of life in Christchurch. Connecting whānau with friends, music with people, together as one in Ōtautahi, this tee unmistakably prides the city of Christchurch as well as the people that consider Kāwai a part of their own lives.
